Implementation · ISQ

Independent Schools Queensland

The first mature organisational implementation of the eLearning Design System, bringing shared learning design into an ISQ visual theme and production platform stack.

Boundary

ISQ does not define the identity of the core system. It provides a mature, tested implementation: brand tokens, platform conventions, production code and course evidence. Other implementations can use the same core without adopting ISQ colours, typography, content or class names.

ISQ source hierarchy

#PublicationImplementation role
1ISQ eLearning Design System v1.1Original ISQ strategy, architecture, principles, governance and roadmap.
2ISQ Rise Design System: Implementation and Component GuideRise-specific components, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and responsive behaviour.
3ISQ Rise Block Selection and Usage GuideOperational guidance for choosing native and custom blocks.
4ISQ Digital Learning Imagery and Media GuideImage taxonomy, production dimensions, accessibility and file standards.
5Production code and qualification evidenceCurrent rendered behaviour and verified technical contract.

Where sources conflict, core learning and accessibility contracts govern shared intent; this implementation governs ISQ-specific expression; production code governs current rendered behaviour.

Implementation status

ISQ Rise is the most mature stream and provides the current component evidence base. Connect & Learn is a strategic platform implementation. Storyline remains a controlled boundary rather than a complete implementation.
